What is the Settling-In Programme (SIP)?

The Settling-In Programme (SIP) is a mandatory 1-day orientation programme for all first-time helpers in Singapore. It provides them with useful safety advice and recommendations on adjusting to their new life in the country. 

It has to be attended within 3 days of the helper's arrival in Singapore. The programme costs $75 and has to be covered by the employer.
