I am a first-time employer. What is the Employers' Orientation Programme (EOP)?

The EOP is a mandatory course that can be taken online or in a class. It has to be completed in order to hire a helper in Singapore for the first time.

Under the Ministry of Manpower's regulation, all first-time employers have to undertake a mandatory Employers' Orientation Programme (EOP) before they can hire a helper. It will help you understand your role and responsibilities as an employer.

To register for the EOP, you would need to use your SingPass account. SingPass is an online account management for access to Singapore Government e-services. If you are setting up a new Singpass account, the fastest way to do so is over a physical counter. Counter locations can be found here.
